Putting Something Back

I am a musician, and a coward, so please don’t be surprised that I will not be volunteering for any helicopter rides or bungee jumping over the piranha infested Amazon. I won’t be running a marathon, although I may consider a bike ride.

As a lung cancer ‘Survivor’ I consider myself very fortunate to still be alive. The fact that I can sing at all after my illness and its’ treatment is nothing short of a miracle. In order to celebrate this gift, and to try to help others I am raising money for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, the only charity focused on the defeat of lung cancer. I have recorded a blues album of songs that have some resonance with my situation and some that I just like playing. The Album ‘Iron Blue’ is available as a digital download from Amazon and iTunes and all proceeds will go to the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation to help fund the fantastic research and support work they carry out on behalf of us all.
